Uniforest Skylines & Carrier

The Uniforest Skyline System can be made up from Carriage 2500HS Premium and either Tower T9500 - 25 or Winch 85HS. 

Carriage 2500HS Premium:

The 2500HS is an electrohydraulic controlled carrier with a load capacity of 2.5 tonnes.  It has been designed to deflect branches away reducing interferance.  It can run with upper & lower stations on load bearing cable but not essential, the operator can make those judgements while in use.  Stations being a physical boundary attached to the load bearing cable to limit the carriage travel.

Tower T9500 - 25:

The tower is stabilized by 4 remote controlled support lines.  Each line has its own hydraulic driven drum with 60m/16mm cable.  The drums of load bearing and towing lines are all hydraulic powered with integrated brakes.  They are all powered by an adjustable flow pump that allows variable speeds.  The unwinding device ensures that the cable between drum and the top of tower remain tight making unwinding easier.

The Tower has a 220° field of operation and a range of up to 420m.  Recommended 120 hp

The control system of the tower allows upper and lower limits to be set on the length of range.  This information then allows the carriage 2500HS to operate automatically within these boundaries with smooth acceleration/deceleration.

Winch 85HS:

Using the winch for the skyline systems requires a few addtions to make sure it will work.  The winch must be fitted with a suitable wire cable and a front drum (FD 400) winch to provide the load bearing cable for operations.  The front drum winch is plummed into the 85HS allowing it to be controlled all through the same remote control.
