Gros
Turbomachinery workshop Gros was founded on 29.5.1970 in Kranj Slovenia by Ožbolt Gros Ph.D. in science in cooperation with his son Vitomir Gros Ph. D. in science.
Workshop Gros began producing drying fans for hay and other agricultural crops. At first the factory produced only axial fans of all sizes. In the year 1983 the production also included two sided suction radial fans. A few years later factory also produced one sided suction radial fans, automatic drying controls for drying operations and automatic hay spreaders.
In all that time, this factory also produced the equipment for the storage of agricultural products, mainly for the storage of potatoes in Slovenia and throughout the former Yugoslavia, namely fans, exhaust fans, automatic dampers and ducts. Among other things, this factory had also dealt with ventilation industrial halls, preventing fog on the ice rings, reconstruction of small hydropower plants, drying grain, corn, tobacco, seeds and various other services.
The Company which has since become known under the name GROS, in the last three decades has become the concept of quality in providing advice in the field of drying and manufacture of fans.
Gros fans in Slovenia are also the most common.
