We have been unusually busy recently hosting journalists!
Shortly after our last visit, we had another visit, this time from James Hendrie, writing for the Forestry Journal. After a bit of a chat we then showed him around the firewood yard as well as showing him planting and harvesting operations. While he wrote furiously in his notebook and snapped pictures of what we showed him, we enjoyed spending the day showing someone else all that we are passionate about.
The Forestry Journal is probably the most read forestry magazine in this country and the longest running, looking great following its recent facelift. We are delighted to have another great article looking behind the scenes of our business.
See the article below or subscribe to the Forestry Journal here.
Pages 1 and 2 featuring some of our planting team, Glenfarrow drying kilns, bags stacked for drying and our Malwa 560f forwarder
Pages 3 and 4 featuring our harvesting team with the Malwa extracting timber round a golf course and our harvester, built by Caledonian Forestry Services, in action
