Treeline, along with Malwa, will be hosting live harvesting and forwarding demonstrations of the low impact Malwa 560F Forwarder and 560C Combi around the country from the beginning of May. This will be an opportunity to see and try the machinery in a real working environment whilst also allowing interested parties to get into the seat themselves. The events will be held at:

Cefn-y-pant, Carmarthenshire Wednesday 3rd May, 10:00-15:00
Hawkhurst Wood, East Sussex Friday 5th May, 10:00-15:00
Grafton Underwood, Northamptonshire Tuesday 9th May, 10:00-15:00
Zetland Estates, North Yorkshire Wednesday 10th May, 10:00-15:00
Baddinsgill Estate, Scottish Borders Thursday 11th May, 10:00-15:00
The right machinery can ensure minimal damage during harvesting operations, leaving you with sympathetically managed and tidy woods. Malwa machinery ensures low-impact, productive, and economical methods of thinning and managing woodlands and more sensitive sites. Malwa machines are incredibly nimble inside the wood meaning fewer trees need to be removed to allow access resulting in a stronger and more stable canopy. The 560 chassis rated at 5.5 tonnes means less ground damage and soil compaction, helps to reduce reinstatement works and maintains better root health.
Rather than developing additional products, Malwa has concentrated on developing their current range reducing downtime for users. This has led them to be the best-selling machine in their class is Sweden with machines exported to many other markets around the world. For the UK market the forwarder is available with a larger headboard and longer bolster pins to optimise the load area for carrying shorter product lengths, making the forwarder far more productive when predominantly moving 3m chipwood.
This event will be an opportunity to see the machinery in a real working environment as well as allowing interested parties the chance to operate both. Our demo day is open to all however to help manage numbers please register your interest by emailing [email protected]
